Do you download from the sims 2 site?

I downloaded over 100! And I've only had this game and University ex pack since Feb. 2, 2008! But then again, my friend Jennifer download 67 and gave them to me on her USB. So i really didn't download that many myself! The best place to go is www.thesims2.com. Hit exchange sims. Then hit download. Then hit save! Then go to my documents. Go to ea games. Hit the sims 2. Hit saved sims. Double Click your sim that you downloaded. And when you play the game. You will have new clothes, hairstyles, and makeup automaticly downloaded!

i have lots on the exchange :) always modern ones, sims is really good and it is also usefull to me because i can design some buildings on it and i am studying as level tech (im in yr 10 but i am gifted and talented)
Reply:i do but not really off the sims 2 wevsite becoz i like new objects %26amp; clothes %26amp; there arent that many on the actual sims 2 website. i like parsimoniuos, snooty sims
Reply:I like to download clothes for thesimsresource.com. A lot of good styles. You have to pay for some of the stuff, but there is a lot of the free stuff. My brother goes to all sorts of other websites and downloads custom hair, clothes, skintones, eye color, makeup, lots, etc. There are thousands of other sites out there. You usually have to have the right extraction software to use it, but it is still easy to install. Go to sims2wiki.info for tons of custom content and how to install/use it all.
Reply:I've gotten maybe 10 things from the exchange. Now I get my stuff from paysites.mustbedestroyed.org.
Reply:I'm not a fan of the Sims 2 site content; I think most of it is poor quality. I prefer http://www.modthesims2.com -- you should check that out if you haven't. It's free, but the content is monitored.
