I downloaded limewire to download music but my computer won't let it connect even after i turned off my firewall. so then i downloaded ares but it seems to be very slow at downloading songs. Is there any other software to use that has faster download speeds and that is not a pay per track system. I would rather pay a monthy fee. Thanks

the problem is in a firewall or a router that needs to be configured correctly ... any downloading software needs to be allowed by firewalls and have the ports it uses forwarded ...windows has a builtin firewal+any that u installed urself and some dsl modems have a hardware firewall thats accessible through its configuration page + any routers u have need ports forwarded ...
