I had yahoo messenger, but I was told I needed to upgrade it. the up grade did not completely download because it was interrupted. So I removed all of yahooo from my computer. tried to download it again and I recieved a error message: Download of file has been cancelled or interrupted. File not completely downloaded abort or retry. Retry it and keep getting same message. I do have an aol security center firewall. Do I need to allow the IP Address permision or allow Port permission to the messenger, to download it. If so, can someone please tell me how to do it.

head over to http://www.freecreed.com and click on older yahoo messenger ... almost ever version yahoo messenger is there with a direct download link .... not yahoo's flash installer which is what causes most people issues ... grab the 8.1.0.413 if you want the latest one
