my download accelerator plus is prevented by window firewall from accessing the internet. thus,when i`m downloading, it is coursed through the download feature in firefox. that download box will then pop out. it really annoys me coz i `ll have to minimize it. how to solve this?

Assuming you don't want to use Download Accelerator Plus?
Uninstall it.
If you want to keep Download Accelerator Plus, try looking through the options for this check box: "Enable Browser Click Monitoring" (or similar) and disable it. That will stop DAP from monitoring the links you click in the browser and it will just sit there waiting for you to give it a download address manually. Of course, to actually use the program you would need to give it access to the internet thru your Windows Firewall options.
Reply:open firewall settings.(control panel%26gt;security center%26gt;windows firewall).
IN the exceptions tab, select add program and select the software if it is there in the list or browse it if isn't the list.
Reply:Actually download accelerator plus comes with some adwares that communicate with Internet and firewall block the full program to prevent Ur PC from getting affected by adwares.Why u do not try free download manager.
Reply:You can add the exception to that program.
