I just got the samsung glyde yesterday and the way you have to download music is really really frustrating. On my other verizon phone I could just download my ringtones and RBTS right through get it now VCAST, but now even though I have a vcast subscription, I can't download any ringtones through vcast, when I push shop ringtones I have to go through Sony Music Box! Which you have to pay for by the use. I'm not understanding why I was only paying for vcast on my other Verizon phone and downloading music, but this ones i have to pay for 2 separate programs just to download a ringtone. Oh and ......I still can't figure out where to go to download RBTS? Help.....did that make any sense?

you shouldnt have to puchase the music box... go online and buy your ringtones and RBT's there... its easier.

Reply:I just went to the Verizon store for just about the same problem. According to the girl that helped me, the Glyde is only compatible for ringtones and ringback tones through Sony, which is lame, lame, lame. You can't even download songs from the 'net because the phone's not compatible for that. I'm sure there will be a software upgrade soon, but for now you have to live with Sony, which sucks!
ETA: Even the ring tones on Sony are lame. They're throwbacks to 5 years ago when there were only 5 chords available on your phone.
