Should I download Microsoft Vista from a downloading program. Is it illegal? I mean, a lot of people download anything from music to videos on such programs {Limewire and Emule}.

Yes, it's illegal. It's a violation of international copyright law, punishable by a fine of up to $150,000.00 for each song, software or movie you steal. It's also stupid. We're talking about illegally downloading an operating system, which probably comes complete with viruses, trojans and other malware to steal your bank account information (which is karma, since you only get it if you've stolen the software yourself). In this case, Microsoft will detect it's stolen, and Vista is set up so that they can render your PC useless if you have a pirated copy.
Reply:All downloading of content you don't own is illegal including music, movies, and software. I don't even recommend purchasing Vista because it's such a piece of crap.
