How to download Maplestory(please read details)?

So I go to the downloads thing right, heres the link:

But it says all that stuff at the bottom, and I don't get it! It says you have to download these clients, and I think I might already have those on my computer. So, they won't let me download it without downloading the clients or something? I have Windows 2001, my question is, how do i download, if i already have the clients...and how long will it take? its ALL FREE right? thanks :D

Those answers above me confused even ME, a longterm maple player. So here's my answer:





To play maplestory you have to download a game client. There is only one download. You will automatically get the latest version. Once it is installed on your computer and you have registered on the nexon site for an account, you can play maplestory by loading the client.


Maplestory gives regular patches which take up to half an hour to download. You cannot play without downloading these, since they add new areas to the game.


Maplestory is a MMORPG - Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game. That means you play alongside a lot of other people. Obviously if each person was on a different version of the game, they could not interact because some players would be allowed to goto different areas.


Once you are signed up I recommend you read some guides on www.hidden-street.net since it has details on all areas of gameplay as well as character builds for each job. Good luck!
Reply:Ok, look under the member login spot and hit game download, then scroll down and i recommend to hit Full version global or if you want north american. Then a box should come up, save the file into any file. Then it will download, this probably will take some time i played video games while waiting for mine to finish, then go to where you saved it and click it, congratz you're ready to install. It will take a while to open so be patient and wait, just do what it tells you. When its done click the MS icon and it should have a blue bar saying Play, click it and it might patch itself, after that just login, ENJOY MS!! i play in broa and khaini; Broa:mikeLpwns

Reply:Maplestory is free but u myt have sumthing thats effectin ur computer maybe a virus or you just dont have something that requires your computer to download MapleStory my computer is 14 years old and i was able to download MapleStory
