Download files corrupted?

when i try to download any files from mirc/limewire/torrent etc it always end up a corrupted file at the end. downloading a 700mb only takes 40 minutes but the problem is; when it's about to finish(99.9%), my download speed slowly fades away 'til 0.001kb/s... and eventualy the file goes incomplete. re-downloading the file from the same source make it complete but there is nothing to it other than a corrupted file when its open. i thought the problem could of be the firewall,os, memory, ethernet adapter- i made changes by on/off and i even returned my motherboard to get check and reported functioning perfectly. does anyone have the same problem? is there anyone out there who know a solution to this problem before this desktop goes to a bin?

thanks

i am using amd athlon(tm) 64x2 dual core processsor 3800 1024mb of ram. operating system:winxp

i believe that u should format ur windows. it happens sometime that if window is corrupt ur downloads will not complete.
Reply:Try using a download accelerator to obtain your software.
Reply:ok the torrent tool i've been using and is great- never had such a problem is bitornado, if you are using this one the problem may be your internet connection check your history to see if it unplugs on its own or you don't get a connection fluently from the comapany that gives you that service (p.s. spytorrent is the best site for torrents -the link you're using can cause this too).
Reply:u have a virus
